Girton Colts new under 7s team are wearing brand new playing kit thanks to sponsorship from Girton village Co-op. Girton Co-op manager, Paul, recently presented the team with a massive cheque as Co-op’s contribution to the new kit. The team have been wearing the kit with pride as they’ve won 3 league games out of 6 in their very first season, scoring an amazing 23 goals.
Manager Steve Dobbyne and his assistants have been working hard coaching both the under 7s squad and younger players not yet old enough to play in the league. The club hopes this will lead to them having even more teams playing league football next season.
